The Story

Sanya's family was supportive but cautious — Merchant Navy still has a gender imbalance and every rejection would have been amplified back home.

She wanted to be prepared for questions that men in her batch would never be asked.

The Journey

We ran her through five mock interviews across two weeks. Each one got harder. By interview four, she was answering everything without flinching.

The real sponsorship interview lasted 18 minutes. She walked out smiling.

Placement

TME sponsorship secured on first attempt. Currently in pre-sea training with sea-time scheduled early 2026.
